We use a variety of tools to measure, punch holes, cut out, trim and give things shape. If only there were a tool that could automate all of these processes reliably, accurately and easily, without the need to rely on experience or knowledge… Meet “iModela” – a completely new digital craft tool that implements your ideas by computer control.
“iModela” utilizes a rotating bit to punch holes, cut, mill, and more. The application software driving it is called “iModela Creator” and is also included. “iModela Creator” provides easy-to-follow instructions that make operating iModela a snap for anyone. This means that from the day of your purchase you can create pendants, charms, small figurines and accessories using graphics and text.
“iModela” has been developed from 3D technology Roland DG has developed over many years for design engineers. If you use the optional “MODELA Player 4” CAM software, it is even possible to produce 3D objects with data created in 3D software and 3D files downloaded from the Internet.
