Roland VersaWorks® RIP and print management software.
When using the PANTONE® library within VersaWorks, the PANTONE® spot color used in the design file is automatically converted to a CMYK value and then closely matched to a color within the gamut of the ECO-SOL MAX2 ink set. This simplified workflow reduces the amount of time required for color matching and enables quick output of specific colors when working with a properly profiled media. The extent of color matching can always be impacted by ink, media and printer setup. For color-critical environments, Roland recommends using color verification tools to assist in the process. You can also replace spot colors with any of the colors included in the Roland Color System, VersaWorks’ own library of more than 1,000 standard colors and 512 metallic shades. With Roland Color, you can print reference tools such as color charts and chips to precisely target custom colors.
